Toys-R-Us-Book-of-Awesome

Growing up, I remember fondly getting toy catalogs and going through the book carefully page by page. This week, my girls got the The Great Big Toys“R”Us Book of Awesome and I was overcoming with a rush of these familiar feelings. The book is packed with nearly 1,000 of the year’s hottest toys including Star Wars, Paw Patrol, Barbie, Shopkins and more.

Have you gotten your book? I first shared with you how to get your book here. The book begin arriving on the doorsteps of millions of homes last week. Sales are now running through Saturday, November 1, 2015. If you didn’t sign up earlier, it’s not too late. You still can go to your local Toys“R”Us store and grab one or visit the Toys“R”Us Book of Awesome online. For those of you who have seen the book, you might not realize it’s awesome features. After all, these amazing features can not been seen with the naked eye but require a very special app. The Geoffrey Shuffle app game (available in the App Store® or Google Play®) brings an augmented reality experience through which kids are able to bring their favorite toys from The Great Big Toys“R”Us Book of Awesome TO LIFE! Using a smart phone, kids can examine their favorite toys by zooming-in to see intricate details, spinning or walking around pages of the interactive edition of The Great Big Toys“R”Us Book of Awesome for different angles or capturing photos of their favorite toys within the game.

First make sure you have the Interactive Christmas Edition book. To play, players should look for a golden Geoffrey coin, located at the bottom corners of the book’s pages. When you find the coin, hold your smart phone over the image and the page will begin loading. Find the beloved  Geoffrey as well as the Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles, Barbie, Darth Vader and more.
