Cinnamon Roll Christmas Trees
If it’s a weekend morning for us, it probably includes a breakfast with Cinnamon Rolls. We love them! We had fun with these cinnamon rolls turning them into Christmas trees with green food coloring, some Christmas sprinkles and and Twizzlers Pull and Peel candy. This recipe is so easy only requiring a few additional touches to get your final Christmas Food Craft – we think the kids will love it! Enjoy.

- Pillsbury Cinnamon Rolls with Icing
- Green Food Coloring
- Christmas sprinkes (we used The Geeky Hostess Natural Colored Star Sprinkles)
- Red Twizzlers Pull and Peel
Supplies:

Directions:
- Preheat your oven to 400° and line a baking pan with parchment paper.
- Open your cinnamon roll packaging and your cinnamon roll dough and set the icing aside.
- Press two of your cinnamon roll doughs together and roll out into a long snake like figure.
- Repeat step 3 with each piece of dough, making 4 dough snakes.
- Form your dough snakes into Christmas trees by using a back and forth motion while placing your dough onto your pan.
- Bake for 12-14 minutes or until your cinnamon rolls have a nice golden look to them.
- Add a drop of your green coloring into your icing and mix with a toothpick.
- Use a knife to frost each cinnamon roll tree with your green icing.
- Sprinkle your stars onto each tree and pull apart your pull and peel licorice.
- Cut your pull and peel into smaller pieces and place onto you Christmas trees in a zig zag pattern to look like garland.
