Pillsbury Grands Homemade Taco Bowls
You know from our 52 Week of Taco Tuesday Recipes we are obsessed with Tacos. They are a weekly tradition for us in our home. This week we wanted to share with you one one of our favorites, homemade taco bowls made with Pillsbury Grand! Biscuits. These are so simply and I love that they bring a twist to a pretty routine meal.
Pillsbury Grands Homemade Taco Bowls
Yields: 8 Taco Bowls
Ingredients:
- Pillsbury Grands! Original 8 ct
- 1.5 lbs ground beef
- 1/2 cup cold water
- 1 packet taco seasoning
- 1 cup cooked mild chili beans
- 4 cups washed, chopped romaine lettuce
- 1 cup shredded cheddar or Mexican cheese
- 2 washed, diced Roma tomatoes
- 1 cup sour cream
- non-stick cooking spray
Directions:
- Preheat your oven to 375 degrees and spray the bottom of a jumbo muffin pan with a non stick cooking spray.
- Open your Pillsbury Grands and flatten.
- Flip over your pan so it is upside down and spray lightly with cooking spray the bottom of the muffin mold.
- Form the flattened dough onto the bottom of each muffin mold.
- Bake for 12 minutes or until golden brown.
- While baking, cook your ground beef in a large skillet until all pink is gone, drain grease, and mix in your water and taco seasoning.
- When your Pillsbury Grands cups are done baking, let cool, and carefully remove.
- Fill each cup with 1/2 cup lettuce.
- Scoop ground beef on top of the lettuce.
- Next add your warm chili beans, cheese, tomatoes, and sour cream.
