Learn how to make a Halloween Dollar Tree Wreath for under $10. Black and Purple Mesh Ribbon, Halloween Ornaments and a wreath form for this budget-friendly outdoor Halloween craft.
Halloween Dollar Tree Wreath
You want to know something funny? I recall going to Jo-Ann Fabrics after one Halloween and they practically gave me the wreath on display. I had to pay for it, but I recall it feeling like a steal. The wreath was only a wreath form with orange mesh ribbon and I treat the wreath like a precious baby since I have it. Unfortunately, I must not treat my babies well because the mesh ribbon is looking awful and I have wanted to replace it for the longest time.
Realizing I could replace my beloved Halloween wreath for under $10 makes me wonder why I did not do this ages ago! I am so grateful how Dollar Tree Crafts have become the coolest thing to do. I think The Dollar Store realizing how much we appreciate their materials, too, because they are really stepping up their decor!

Halloween Wreath Tips:
We picked up a Dollar Tree wreath form. You can use this wreath over and over each year or take it apart at the end of Halloween and use for other seasons.
Personalize this wreath to your style and taste. Your your own Dollar Tree Halloween Decor. The purpose is not for me to show you how to perfectly make mine but for me to show you how to make your own. Style it to your liking.
I love that you can pick up Dollar Store Craft Pipe Cleaners for a $1. Such a frugal craft and the rest can be used for the kids craft area.
Dollar Tree Halloween Wreath Directions:
First, start by cutting your pipe cleaners into small sections, these will be used as ties to secure your ribbon to the wreath form. I personally cut my pipe cleaners into 3 pieces each.
Next, tie pipe cleaners sections all around the perimeter of your wreath, you will want to do this on the outer ring and also the second from the middle as well – I like to do them about 3-4 inches apart.
Would you like to save this?
Now you’ll take one of your ribbon colors, you can choose which you’d like to do on each section. I started with purple on the outer ring. You’ll want to secure the end of your ribbon using one of the pipe cleaners ties you’ve already had tied on the wreath.
Once you’ve secured your end of the ribbon roll, you’ll want to create bunches to give that full bubbly appearance and you’ll want to secure a section every 3-4 inches where you have placed the pipe cleaners ties.
Repeat these steps all the way around the outer ring as well as the inner ring until you have a full wreath without decor.
Now comes the fun part, decorating! You can choose to get the round ornaments and pumpkins like I did to fill in the very inner ring, or you can find whatever Halloween decorations fit your aesthetic best, the dollar tree has TONS to choose from! You’ll just want to use a hot glue gun to secure these items to your wreath and Voila!
You’re finished. I love how simple and easy, yet adorable this wreath is! Not to mention I was able to purchase all the supplies for around $10, that’s a steal if you compare the cost of wreaths online!
Enjoy.
