To Order Your Printables at Staples*:

Download and save your image from this post. (Please note these images are for personal use only and cannot be sold or used for commercial use.)
Sign in or create a Staples account on their print service page.
Return to Staples print service page.
Go to Start Project.
Go to Documents Printing. Select Browse.
Select the Buy Now Button under color.
On the left column, choose add file.
Select upload.
Select done.
Give your job a name.
Make sure your project is single sided. The orientation should be portrait.
I changed my media to 8.5×10 and the media to 67 lb cover stock (I prefer a card stock feel over printer paper feel.)
Select add to cart.
Proceed to checkout. My total was $0.65 for one print. You can choose to ship to your home or to pick up at your local store. Pay online and show your invoice when you pick up (I just show the order number on my phone at pick-up.) The order invoice will arrive in your email inbox.

I’m sure many of you have great frugal ideas for Halloween or Fall decor. When it comes to wreaths, I feel like I have almost done it all…and then someone comes up with another cute idea. I love this one because it is truly CHEAP and EASY! No sewing, no gluing, no experience with floral arrangements!

Head to Something To Do to see the instructions on how to make this Tulle Halloween Wreath. I bought black tulle recently at JoAnn and the normal price was just $1.99/yd. Take your 50% off coupon with you and only pay $.99/yard! Since my door is black, I think I will do it in orange tulle with a white ribbon and then either add black or white (or both) felt polka dots to it! (Thanks, Moms By Heart)

You could also make one with Halloween-looking fabrics for a more folksy look, like this one from A Little Bit of Everything. Or, use ribbon like The Long Thread did.

Remember our Easter Egg Dying Ideas for thinking outside the typical egg dye? This time we wanted to share with you a creative Easter Egg Hunt, a Glow in the Dark Easter Egg Hunt.

Updated for 2020: This year I will be doing this night time Easter egg hunt with my family since the kids can sleep in the next day. I will not be using tea lights but will be using flashlights. I will have the older kids hide the eggs and then draw a map. This will add time to their daily routine. I will have the younger kids be the hunters using the older kids as guides and using their map (even if the map is unnecessarily). They can all sleep in the next day!

To achieve this fun scavenger hunt for the kids at night, we place flameless tea lights inside of our Easter Eggs. You can fill the remaining space with tiny candy, like M&Ms or skittles, or you can have the kids trade in their flameless lights for a treat basket that you have. That way they get to choice a candy they like and you get back your tea lights!

They sell glow in the dark Easter eggs online, but we find they do not get as bright as eggs with lights inside. We picked up our eggs and flameless tea lights at the dollar store, that means you can pull this off for next to nothing and it’s a memorable way to enjoy Easter and create a new family tradition!

Tealights add up so there is another way to play this game/hunt, have a Flashlight Easter Egg hunt. You can keep the glow in the dark theme with the flameless tealights or you can have bright colored eggs to they stand out when a flashlight shines on them. Enjoy an evening searching for eggs in the dark. Make it challenging by hiding the eggs in places that are not seen well in the light (or in the dark) or make it not as challenging and just fun by having eggs that are easily found in the light but not as well in the dark.

When inviting others, ask people to bring their own flashlight. You can pay attention to when the sun sets in your area on the weather channel and then plan a start time approximately 20 minutes after the sun sets. If you kids go to bed early, perhaps move this flashlight Easter Egg hunt inside and shut all the blinds in your home. You could have your own flashlight Easter egg hunt in doors!

Afterwards, have fun making these glow in the dark eggs with this easy science experiment with the kids!

Straight Outta Camp Printable

Has summer camp created lasting memories, if so check out this FREE PRINTABLE, Straight Outta Camp. This is perfect for iron t-shirts, cinch bags, duffel and more. We used a polyester bag, which was adorable but a cotton t-shirt or cotton cinch bag would be perfect no only for the iron-on, but also for getting signatures. We suggest using Sharpie Markers.

Supplies:

T-Shirt Transfer Paper
Cotton T-Shirt or Poly Bag
Fabric Markers
Iron
Kraft Paper (if using a polyester bag) – also try to find the paper at the Dollar Store or a Craft Store for under $5!

Directions:

Open the Straight Outta Camp image (see below) on the computer.
Set your printer to mirror image before you print.
Print your image on the coated side of the transfer paper (white side, not word side). Allow the printed image to dry before transferring.
Heat up Iron.
Pre-Iron bag or T-Shirt to remove moisture and to create a flat surface.
Place transfer face down and press firmly with the iron. Peel a corner to make sure it is attached before removing completely.

If using a polyester cinch bag use Kraft Paper to avoid melting the bag with the iron! Keep in mind that poly bags are harder to sign.
