When do Girl Scout cookies go on sale?
Girl Scout cookie sales typically begin in January and some troops continue sales through April. You can purchase cookies through your local Girl Scout Troop and via girls participating in the Girl Scout Cookie Program. Sometimes these cookie sales will take place at a cookie booth found at local grocery stores.

What Type of Girl Scout Cookies are there?
This cookie season, there are 12 kinds of Girl Scout Cookies. These boxed treats include…
- Thin Mints: Crispy cookies dipped a chocolate mint coating.
- Adventurefuls: Brownie inspired cookies topped with caramel and a hint of sea salt.
- Caramel Chocolate Chip: Gluten-free cookies. Chewy classic chocolate chip cookies with a hint of sea salt.
- Samoas: Also known as Caramel deLites. Crisp cookies with caramel, coconut, and a chocolate stripe topping
- Do-si-dos: Crunchy oatmeal, peanut-butter sandwich cookies with PB filling.
- Girl Scout S’mores: Your traditional graham sandwich cookies with a chocolate, marshmallow filling.
- Lemonades: Shortbread cookies with with a lemon-flavored icing.
- Lemon-Ups: Lemon cookies with inspiring messages
- Tagalongs: Also known as peanut butter patties. Crispy cookies with peanut butter and chocolate covered coating.
- Trefoils: Short bread cookies. The trefoil design is in the shape of the Girl Scout logo.
- Toast-Yay!: Toast-shaped cookies with French toast flavor and dipped in icing.
- Toffee-tastic: Gluten-free cookies. Buttery cookies with crunchy toffee bits.

When do Girl Scout cookies get delivered?
Only registered Girl Scouts can sell Girl Scout Cookies. Individuals cookie sales are usually collected in January and delivered and February. Deliveries can vary with each Troop.
Some girl scout girls elect to have an online cookie store. For orders through Digital Cookie site, where the customer has elected shipment by common carrier, orders will generally arrive within fifteen business days or fewer.
While cookies can be found on eBay and Amazon, the GSUSA cautions against these types of online purchases.

Did you know there is a Girl Scout Manners Badge? Cookie season is not only a great time to practice table etiquette (perhaps with a tea party) but it also is a great time to say thanks!
