Mexican Chimichurri Pork
Here is a nice meal idea for your next evening in. This Mexican Chimmichurri Pork mixes the taste of parsley, garlic, pepper, and more. This recipe calls for 2 pieces of pork, multiply ingredients as needed for larger families.
Ingredients:
- 2 Pork Steaks
- 1 Tsp salt
- 1 Tsp coarse black pepper
- 1/2 Tsp white pepper
- 2 Tbsp olive oil
- 1/4 Cup chopped parsley
- 2 Minced garlic cloves
- 1/2 Tbsp white vinegar
- 1 Cup red cabbage, shredded
Directions:
- Clean and season steaks with salt, white pepper, and black pepper.
- Heat up a medium-sized skillet and coat it with 1 tbsp of olive oil.
- Place steaks in the skillet and let cook for 7 minutes then rotate to the other side and cook for 7 more minutes.
- When meat is cooked to desired liking, turn off the fire and cover half way with a lid.
- In a small bowl, combine the parsley, garlic, and white vinegar.
- Stir mixture together until well blended then pour on top of the steaks.
- Serve the steaks on top of the shredded cabbage.
- Enjoy.
Tips: To switch to a red chimichurri sauce simply add 1/2 tbsp of paprika and ½ tsp of cayenne pepper for a fiery touch.
