Oh the gift of having older children . My daughter quickly whipped up this Elf on a Shelf Pretzel rod fort for our boys. It took ten minutes.

Elves only! You could adapt this elf idea by adding animals or other friends to the outside that cannot get in the fort.  You can write your own fort message or download our free printable Elf on the She Shelf Elves Only Printable Sign. Elf on the Shelf Sled

Elf on the Shelf Coffee Table Sled

Using a coffee table, we created a snow hill with pillows and a blanket. We went with a Frugal Elf on the Shelf Idea and made our own sled out of the upcycled cardboard box of mini cereal. Using scissors we applied string and added elf for a line of those who wanted to go on a sleigh ride.
