Well folks, let’s be honest. HOPEFULLY this is as close and personal as you ever get to me (my blog wasn’t intended for that) but in time for the holiday season and your dazzling smile, I wanted to share with you a review of Smile Brillant Teeth Whitening Kits.
I am sure the first think you noticed when scrolling through these posts was my smile. Yep, it’s big and bright and out there and definitely ready to mingle at the upcoming Christmas gathers I have on my calendar.
First, I am very sensitive to products in my mouth. I hate the dentists and am very selective over toothpaste (sometimes I consider Sensodyne.) I have never had braces, I do not have cavities and I made it pretty lucky in the teeth department. Yes, I have my flaws but for the most part my habits (minus the coffee) keep my teeth pretty white. In the past I have tried teeth whitening kits and haven’t gotten further than using about 1/3 a Crest White Strip Box. I did get a voucher for a kit once and it was rather awful causing mouth sores in my gums – not worth the bleaching!
I decided to go ahead and try the Custom Teeth Whitening Trays. I loved that these were custom fit to your mouth. When you receive your kit you mix a putty and form a mold to your teeth. This mold dries within minutes and you ship your mold out for a custom fit tray. I got mine mold back in about 7 to 10 days. I have had kits before where you boil water and shape a mold to your teeth. I was only able to use those kits once as I felt as if i was a football player with a giant mouth guard in my mouth. The misshapen mold also allowed bleach to seep to my gums and that hurts!
My kit has a syringe for desensitizing. I would put the first gel in my trays and wear it in my mouth first. It fit comfortably on my teeth and I was amazing what a perfect fit it was. After desensitizing was done, I went to the whitening gel. I did three treatments. The first treatment was fine, the second I had some touch my gums and it hurt and the third was fine again but I was not able to keep them in as long.
All in all, I am glad I did this kit. I felt good about my smile and it was something I was able to do from the comfort of my home. I am grateful to have my custom mouth piece and plan to use another syringe (3 treatments) before another big event.

The story is narrated by Si Robertson ( Uncle Si) of Duck Dynasty fame- he plays a lovable mall janitor. We really enjoyed this story because as usual Big Idea Entertainment delivers a story that teaches sweet lessons while keeping kids entertained with fun and colorful characters.

Two DVD’s that contain a total of 6 favorite Holiday movies, including; Christmas Sing-Along Songs- 10 Original Christmas songs, It’s a Meaningful Christmas, The Little Drummer Boy, The Toy That Saved Christmas, The Star of Christmas, and Saint Nicholas. We enjoyed these videos and recommend you add them to your Christmas classics library. Silly Songs with Larry – 20th Anniversary Edition. If you have been a fan of VeggieTales for awhile you know that each story includes a break where Larry the Cucumber performs silly songs with Larry. Just like it sounds he sings silly, nonsense songs about random things. This is a highlight of every episode for the kids and I. This video is PACKED with 35 of these songs. Making for fun sing a longs, and a lot of laughter. My personal favorites are His Cheeseburger and Love My Lips. This DVD also includes a karaoke version for each of the 35 songs for a twist on the fun!
A Very Veggie Christmas Countdown – A lift the flap board book. A 10 day Christmas countdown containing all your favorite VeggieTale characters, in which each page contains fun flaps to peek behind, including counting and seek and find activities. My little one and my older child are both enjoying looking behind each and every flap to see what is waiting there. I would say this is a great holiday book for ages 2-6.

I picked up the You are Here to Be Light, Lamp Framed Canvas in Taupe and the As For Me and My House, Chair Framed Canvas in Taupe. I placed them in my master bedroom and for me it is so encouraging to roll over and view scripture each morning.
Another one of my favorite items from DaySpring, is the Hurricane Trio. I got the set last year and lit up I think it makes the most beautiful evening accent during the Christmas season.
