Funny Egg Sheeran Idea
Want a funny Elf on the Shelf idea. We have it. Your child must understand who Ed Sheeran is.
Supplies
- The Elf on the Shelf Doll
- Eggs
- Googly Eyes (see Elf on the Shelf Googly Eyes Ideas)
- Orange yarn
- School glue
- Paper Guitar (find clipart on Google)
- Markers
- Cardstock or paper (this is the best cardstock which is perfect for your Elf printables)
Instructions
First find clip art of a guitar on the internet. Print and cut out your guitar.
Using a carton of eggs, add a smile to an egg with a marker.
Add a two dots of glue to the egg and lay the eyes on your egg.
Add more glue to the top of the egg and add some cut orange yarn for hair.
Gently display your egg beside the Elf on the Shelf in the refrigerator.
Using markers, write the message “chill’n with egg Sheeran.” You can write chill’n a few different ways including chilling or chillin.
The pun is it’s a cold environment, so you are chilling. Second, Ed Sheeran with a play on egg – just in case we needed to explain!

What is Elf on the Shelf?
Elf on the Shelf is a Christmas Tradition. The tradition has a book and a elf doll. The book is poetic and in rhyme sharing the purpose of the Elf’s visits. The Elf visits each Thanksgiving. He/She goes and returns from the North Pole each evening. Every morning he can be found in a new location in the house. The Elf has been found in the refrigerator, fishing in the toilet, writing messages on the mirror or hanging from the lights. It is VERY IMPORTANT, the Elf is not touch each evening or his Christmas magic will be lost! Each family is able to name their special elf.
