Ingredients
Scale
- 2 cup of plain white flour
- 3/4 cup of salt
- 1 tbs oil
- 1 cup of cold water
- 2–3 drops of green food coloring
- Fine crafting glitter (optional)
Instructions
- In a large bowl mix the flour, salt, oil, and cold water together. You will notice the ingredients begin to clump up. Continue mixing until a soft dough forms.
- Because you are using less salt than most play dough recipes, you will notice that the dough stays clumpy. This is what will give it the coral effect. If you wish for smoother dough, add an extra ¼ cup of salt.
- Add 2-3 drops of food coloring to the dough. Continue to knead the dough until the color spreads to your liking.
- Finish off your dough by adding an optional sprinkle of glitter.Your coral play dough can now be enjoyed. When not in use, place it in an air tight container. It should last for several weeks as long as it doesn’t have the chance to dry out.
