Headed to the beach for Spring Break and need to pack your snack bag?? Look no further than your local CVS store!! I am pleased to give an enthusiastic endorsement for CVS’ Gold Emblem line of drinks and snack foods. CVS recently re-launched this line of products after giving it a new logo, new packaging, and improving taste by increasing its ingredient standards. To do this, CVS sent me a goodie box! In the mail I received CVS Gold Emblem pistachios, CVS Gold Emblem Select Cinnamon Honey almonds, CVS Gold Emblem Raspberry Crème Shortbread cookies, and CVS Gold Emblem Gummy Worms. Wow! Where to begin?? They all looked so yummy!!

The packaging immediately struck me–very clean, simple, small logo with easy to read font, not fancy or cheesy. I decided to open and try the cookies first. YUMMO!! I am a huge fan of shortbread cookies, primarily because I like to dunk them in my coffee. These were so tasty. The raspberry in the center was a little chewy, but the shortbread and crème combo was fantastic. Almonds were next. I could munch on almonds all afternoon. Size? Check. Crunch/freshness? Check. Flavor? Check check. What a creative combo—Cinnamon Honey! I’ve never seen cinnamon honey almonds, have you? Pistachios. The bag–at 12 oz, the bag alone is a decent size, so that’s nice. It’s also resealable, which makes it convenient to close the bag in a hurry without any of those precious puppies rolling away! Taste—perfection! Just the right amount of salt, and sea salt at that! And my personal favorite: gummy worms! Hands down, no kidding, these were the BEST gummy worms I have EVER had!!! They were FAT, JUICY, FLAVORFUL, the right amount of “gummy,” and SO GOOD!!! I will be making special trips just to buy these!!

So what can you expect? If you visit your local CVS, you can expect to find a variety of snack foods and beverages (water, sparkling water) under the Gold Emblem name that taste great and are offered at that same great price! You will NOT be disappointed.
