One of my favorite Mommy moments as a kid was when my Mom and I would go shopping together for the day and go to lunch together. I was one of four kids so it gave me a time with my Mom alone and made me feel very special!

My little girl has given me such joy. A recent mommy moment would have to be our reading time together. My daughter is 15 months and LOVES books. She certainly enjoys when you read to her, but she also really enjoys reading to you. The other day she picked up a book she wanted me to read. When I started to read to her, she started crawling on my lap (we were sitting on the floor) I was wondering what she wanted and then I realized that she wanted to sit nestled in to my lap to read along with me. This was a first for her. It was such a sweet moment having her cozy up in my lap to read with me. She totally melted my heart!

Today me and my 4 1/2 month old went swimming in a little pool in our back yard. I made alot of trips from the bathroom carrying buckets of hot water so the pool wouldn’t be so cold, but it was worth it because we had a fun day.

When i was pregnant i would play music from this little crib toy for my belly, and now my little girl is 4 1/2 months old and i get to see her enjoying the music i played for her so many times and could only imagine what she looked like.

My favorite “mommy moment” was when my daughter laughed out loud for the first time. She was about 2 months old and was nursing. Out of the blue she unlatched herself and laughed out loud. I laughed. Then she laughed again and resumed nursing. What a special moment! :)

My little girl who i named Pearl was born on Christmas morning. She’s only 4 1/2 months old now, and for her first Christmas Birthday i’m going to set up a pink Christmas tree for her and call it her ‘Birthday Tree’ and hang presents on it instead of ornaments.

My favorite, favorite moment was trying to help my daughter do something. She had been reading the Little Red Hen, and she told me, “I’ll do it myself!” This continued for several months!

When my kids just come up to me and tell me they love me =) Or when you have a bad day and I open the door and they come running to give me a big hug!!

MMy favorite “Mommy Moment” was the first time I looked at my babies’ faces right after birth. We have three children, all grown now, 2 married, 1 with 2 of her own children. Ultrasound was just in it’s infant stages and not done routinely as it is now, so we didn’t know what gender they were until the doctor told us!
Christine Burke says
I have three little girls who would LOVE these!!!!!!

My favorite mommy moment was recently. I was put my 3 year daughter to bed and being the middle child she asked me if she was in charge. I told her no Mommy and Daddy are. She then asked but don’t you become in charge when you are born (noticing the baby being the center of attention). Then she asked “Mama do I get to be in charge again, when I marry?” I of course told her yes and she happily went to bed after that. :)

My favorite “Mommy Moment” is every night when my kids tell me they love me no matter how good or bad the day was, also in the morning when my middle child comes to my room and wakes me up with a “Good morning mommy, I Love you”. We have our moments of not getting along but at the end of the day we still love one another. Our favorite saying is “I love you to the moon and back”.

One of my favorite mommy moments was from when I was a kid. My mom passed away when I was 8 and before she passed away she made me a bunch of clothes for my Barbies. I still have all those clothes saved. My favorite mommy moment as a mom was the day each of my kids was born!
Rena Tanson says
that doll looks just like my youngest! We have three girls, and the best mommy moments for me are watching our girls love their daddy so much, and making sure he doesn’t get lost in this house of girls! They are such a blessing :o)
Lisa Reid says
I have many favorite “mommy moments” but if I have to pick one it would be ……. when my kids were each born, my oldest is 22 now & a mommy herself of my 2-year old granddaughter. My other children are 7, 6 & 3. They are very special to me & I am very protective of them all. Each of them are angels from heaven & I am proud to say that I am their mommy!! They each provide me & their dad with laughter on a daily basis, when things get tough in your crazy day they will make your bad day go away with their unique imaginations & sense of humor.
Lisa Reid says
I also wanted to add, the youngest of my 4 children is my 3 year old daughter, we didn’t think we would be able to have a child & to our surprise after 9 years of trying we got pregnant with our little angel. Our 2 boys (7 & 6) were fostered & adopted, 1 month after we adopted our second son is when we found out about being pregnant with our daughter. She is such a blessing in our lives & acts like a “little mommy” herself when she bosses around her big brothers! She really loves dolls & treats them as though they are her “be-be’s”!
annaliese says
I have thought about this for a couple of hours now. I honestly cannot think of one single moment that is my favorite “mommy moment”. There are so many to choose from! I love being a mom all together. My 3 year old is the comedian of the family. So we have many moments that I love and will never forget. The most recent thing she does and say that I just love is when it is bed time she ask for us to tucker her in. She thinks it is supposed to be tucker because I ask my husband if he is going to tuck her in and she hears me say that! Another moment that I love is when she is talking about her new baby sister. She tells everyone that is her baby and her name is baby Katie. She also says to everyone isn’t she so beautiful when talking about her sister, it’s so sweet.

One of my favorite mommy moments actually happened the other day. I was cleaning the kitchen and my 4 year old daughter comes in and she asks me what i was doing then she says “Mom you make my heart feel super happy” my heart absolutely melted.I never realized that I make my children just as happy as they make me and it felt amazing to know that.

One of my favorite Mommy Moments is when, after the birth of each of my children, I had a chance to be alone in the hospital room. No visitors. No nurses. Just me and them. I just laid them on my chest and marveled at this new little person God helped bring into the world. An amazing memory for me.

My Fav Mommy moment- last year my 16 son brought me a single white rose for Last years Mothers Day. It was so incredibly sweet. I kept it. Also my 9 yr old son.. He had stopped giving me a kiss when I dropped him off at school. One morning I told him about this article I read. One part mentioned to keep ur sons sweet make sure u never stop giving them kisses. Ever morning since he looms around to make sure his friends aren’t around and he quickly kisses me and grins. I love my boys!!!

My first Mommy moment as a mom was when they handed me my first born son. He had been in the NICU throughout the night. They brought him to me at about 4am. I was across the room from my husband who was sleeping on the foldout couch. I threw everything I could at him to wake him up, I didn’t want to yell I had my new baby in my arms:) Those first few days you couldn’t wipe the grin across face off. What a miracle I had made.
Jamie says
My first mommy moment as a child….It was tradition that I got a new doll at Christmas every year. It was the most important gift. To see what would be given to me. I remember one year I had a realistic looking doll, not so common then. I was shopping with my mom, and she shoved her into her purse. A lady came running over frantically, she though the doll was real. LOL

My daughter just turned 7. She has autism & would love to get this beautiful doll as a surprise in the mail. She loves dolls & I know this would be a real thrill for her to have.
