My daughter and I made the play dough today. We added vanilla and green food coloring t0 the water. A lot of fun.
Bubble Mix
1 cup warm water
1/4 cup dishwashing liquid
1 tsp salt
Combine well, but do this gently. To make even better bubbles, add one teaspoon of glycerin.
Finger Paints
1/2 cup water
1 tablespoon cornstarch
5-8 drops food coloring
Combine all in saucepan. Simmer over medium heat until the mixture thickens. Cool and stir before using.

Play Dough
2 c. flour
1 cup salt
2 cups water (if you want to color it, add a few drops to the water BEFORE mixing)
4 tsp. cream of tartar
2 tablespoons cooking oil
Mix dry ingredients in saucepan add liquid. Cook over medium heat until the mixture pulls from the side and forms dough. Knead for several minutes. Keep in air tight container in fridge. This will make a lot! Cut recipe in 1/2 or 1/4 to make less.
Peanut Butter Play Dough
1 cup smooth peanut butter
1/2 cup honey
2 cups powdered sugar
In a bowl mix all ingredients together with your hands. Dough should feel soft and pliable. Shape into the forms of your choice. You can be creative and use cookie cutters.

No Boil Play Dough Recipe
1 cup flour
1 cup boiling water
2 tbsp. cream of tartar
1/2 cup salt
1 tbsp. oil
(Food coloring and/or flavoring)
Mix and knead together.
