Ingredients

- 2 glazed donuts, I used Krispy Kreme
- 1 apple, sliced thinly
- 1 tablespoon granulated sugar
- 1 tablespoon of unsalted butter
- 1/2 teaspoon cinnamon
- 2 tablespoons of pumpkin puree
- 6 – 8 tablespoons of caramel
- whip cream
Instructions
- In a skillet add butter, apples, sugar and cinnamon, cook on medium to low heat until apples are caramelized. Remove from heat and set aside.
- In a sauce pan add caramel and pumpkin puree, over medium heat using a wire whisk stir until caramel and pumpkin puree are incorporated.
- Stack donuts and add caramelized apples, add warm pumpkin caramel sauce over donuts and top with whip cream.
