Snowman Cupcakes
If you are enjoying a blizzard or just enjoy the thought of snow, these snowman cupcakes are perfect for the winter season! We love the easy and cute face topper! Enjoy after school, send in for a party, or share with neighbors during a snow day!
Ingredients:
- Box White Cake Mix (calls for eggs, oil, and water)
- White Vanilla Marshmallow Frosting
- Chocolate Chips
- Betty Crocker Orange Icing Mix
- Small Pretzel Sticks
- Edible White Sugar Glitter
- Decorating Bag
- Round Tip for Icing
Directions:
- Preheat your oven to 350° in line a cupcake pan with cupcake liners.
- In a large mixing bowl, whisk together your cake mix, eggs, oil, and water.
- Fill your cupcake liners up halfway with your cake batter and bake for 15 minutes.
- Remove your cupcakes from the oven and let them cool.
- Stir your can of frosting and scoop into a decorating bag, and cut the tip off the bottom of the bag.
- Frost your cupcakes by drawing a swirl onto your cupcakes starting at the outside and working your way in.
- Sprinkle your shimmer sugar on each cupcake.
- Place your chocolate chips upside down on your cupcakes for eyes and a mouth, making sure to leave a space in the center for the nose.
- Lightly press on the tip of your frosting can to draw on a carrot shaped nose under the eyes.
- Now break a pretzel in half and stock each pretzel half broken side down into the top sides of the cupcakes.
